The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers for the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering solutions such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency said it can be alarmed with regards to the substantial number of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The aim on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a substantial number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly because of the lack here of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no thoroughly functional office devoted to service the area on a daily basis. The company stage developed for intervention encounters a high inflow of probable beneficiaries, which makes it tricky for your Workplace to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional resources click here to enable the servicing of all prospects and improve use of Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
